A message from Prairie View PTO

Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up quick (next week) and we’d love to bless our teachers with a meal both nights of conferences.  If you’d like to sign up to bring/send in an item to contribute, or contribute financially please follow this link to sign up!

Have you checked out the Virtual Backpack?
The School District of Holmen (District) implemented a “green” approach for distributing flyers from community organizations, and has discontinued the process of sending paper flyers in students' backpacks, unless they are school related. For your convenience, the flyers are divided on the left hand side into three categories, based on grade levels (Pre-Kindergarten/Elementary, Middle, and High).

National Blue Ribbon Award Ceremony is this week!

You can view the Opening Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 1:00 ET

AND

You can also view the Awards Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 4 at 11:45 ET

Have you received an Attendance Letter?
What are Attendance Letters?
  • Regular attendance at school is extremely important for your child. Your student’s attendance record is one of the most frequently used parts of a school record because it shows your students habits/patterns.
  • Parents are strongly encouraged to schedule doctor and dental appointments outside school hours when possible, or provide a medical note excusing the student from school if an appointment is scheduled during the school day.
  • Please help your child understand the importance of regular attendance at school. You may receive “Attendance Letters” in the mail notating the number of absences your child has, this is so together we can maintain an accurate record.  If you receive a letter and have any questions please feel free to call the front office 608with attendance.
